Fidelity Investments is hiring an Associate Business Analyst to join its cross-functional HR Tools and Platform squad. In this role, you will act as a primary interface for business partners to optimize, configure, and enhance Fidelity's cloud-based core human capital platform, Workday. You will translate complex operational HR objectives into functional platform designs, build and run comprehensive user testing frameworks, balance active agile sprint goals against urgent production support escalations, and systematically collaborate across global product squads to deploy new enterprise HR feature releases.

Key Technologies:

Workday, Cloud HR Platforms, Agile Delivery Tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Frameworks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field of study.
  • 1 to 3+ years of professional business analysis experience, preferably operating within an enterprise corporate landscape.
  • Hands-on functional exposure or baseline structural knowledge regarding the management, configuration, testing, and business rule design within Workday modules. Official Workday platform certifications are considered a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, tracking sprint mechanics, managing backlogs, and utilizing standard agile project delivery tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently write detailed functional test cases, coordinate multi-tier end-user acceptance testing, and address platform defects during sprint iterations.
  • Strong analytical skills to map out a complex HR software ecosystem, evaluate downstream integration dependencies, and research multi-layered root causes for systemic platform issues.
  • Provide structural platform demonstrations to business stakeholders, balance sprint commitments with real-time escalation priorities, and maintain clear documentation for smooth handovers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the tactical ability to facilitate change management and interface confidently across diverse cross-functional teams.
